I did the Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology just for shits and giggles. The result is unsurprising and pretty much mirrors my approach to playing tabletop rpgs too. #mmorp #mud #rpg #bartle

Yesterday I started reading Christopher Buehlman's The Blacktongue Thief. It's been a while since I found a book I couldn't put down. It's lean, mean, hilarious. Reminds me the first time I've read William King's Trollslayer.

Trent Smith's Brink of Calamity is Deal of the Day on DriveThruRPG. If you have been waiting for a good oppurtinity to buy it like me, now is the time! His Heroic Legendarium is one of the most epic AD&D supplements out there, so my expectations are high.

As I mentioned not so long ago, friend and I received Drakborgen for Dragonbane a week or two ago and decided to give it a shot. Here is the session report. vorpalmace.github.io/a-night-in-d...
A Night in Drakborgen
It’s refreshing to finally play a game I’m invested in instead of running it. Yesterday, one of my friends ran a session of Dragonbane in Drakborgen. Dragonbane is the latest edition of Sweden’s natio...

Christmas has officially begun. I have already given up on putting the new HarnMaster Kethira rulebook under the tree, but it seems couriers are capable of miracles too. Or maybe I had a point of Grace left... #rpg #harnmaster

My beloved Bori unleashed our second scion Diana upon this world on the 28th of January, at 21:00. She is pretty buff for a girl with her 4060 grams and 53 centimeters. Fingers crossed she will sleep better than her big brother.

Four levels in I'm already fed up with the Quake II remaster's new episode. Dull linear level design, no verticality, overcrowded tight rooms, gimmicky encounters... It isn't hard, just annoying, tedious, uninteresting, and it doesn't fit the tone of the original.
