I'm genuinely not trying to be difficult, but biological sex shouldn't be defined solely by phenotype OR genotype imo. Both are incomplete. Reducing it to just one risks misunderstanding both the science (which is a mess) and how most people actually think about sex in their daily lives.
My biological sex is female. It has changed
Phenotype is orders of magnitude more important than genotype for everything from discrimination to healthcare to sexuality
Chromosomes are meaningless and any law treating them as all sex is is wrong
