Breathing. Checking in. In between all the rain I wound up stepping outside and into an encounter with a little juncko wren that stunned itself on the glass escaping the hawk. So I held it, whistled the yard song and it went to sleep for an hour before waking up in a flurry and bounce. #Witchsky

So, this is my bonded female cooper's hawk, she "hides" under that bush by the feeders because she can. The male, who is about twice her size was here yesterday, goofus got his feet tangled up but freed himself. Crows came by. I came home yesterday. They are all looking in the windows #witchsky

Yesterday - 2 birds so dark they looked like shadows showed up. They are pigeons, called "spread-blue" a rare genetic formation, beautiful and unnerving to see. Here is pic of regular pigeon next to one. My pigeons are important keepers of signs of community #augury #witchsky

Recovery continues. I made it to just about 11am before eye etc started kicking up a fuss necessitating a medicated break with my fat fannied friend. He has discovered the eblanket. I am having issue with arm too so not playing, but I get to practice the music in my head #TBI #DAVF #minischnauzers

Since Convocation 2025 is out due to my health I gifted my wife the Fu rings under the light of the waxing gibbous. This moon brings with it closure of difficulty and the readiness for development. It was she who noticed they are red snakes for the new year #witchsky #moonmagic #ritual

So...fun fact...I am a combat vet. Do you know what has not been fun recently? The drones flying over my house for a week now. There are 5 every night, same time. Calculating the feng shui for protection is driving me nuts and my PTSD is full out triggered. Any suggestion #witchsky #drones #fengshui

They are too much...this is one of my big boys who followed the car as I drove a mile to the park to walk the dog. Now, he is spying on me as I am getting in the car and making sure I am leaving. I whistled and he cracked back so I know he is from the yard #witchsky #augury #crows

You might recognize his face. This is the memorial tablet for my parrot who passed last year. We worked many years with dementia patients, schizophrenics and in hospice. He is still actively working with me. The symbol is bonescript, the trigram for the heavens. #witchsky #psychpomp

Fu rings. Not FU as we mean it in texting shorthand, but "fu" as in "blessing". For New Year's, since my wife and I are traveling to Ypsilanti, I got us matching Fu rings, blessing rings for couples for 2025 - so, shhhh - she doesn't know and doesn't follow me here #witchsky #convocation2025
