I believe the reason given for the deploying of government troops on American soil (against basic American history & values, at the expense of taxpayers, & with disruption for the lives of NG members, their families & employers) was to prevent federal buildings. Mission definitely not accomplished.

Yeah… I’m sure the new service will diligently protect my privacy and security… Because you can always trust a police state to do what’s right.

An old Army buddy and I were texting about the proposed military parade in DC on Flag Day. My bet is that Little Orange Putin will want a unit with a nickname or unit patch that a pre-adolescent would think is cool. I'm confident that the 42nd Infantry will not be invited.

There’s a phrase in historic preservation: Demolition by neglect. This is what could happen to many historic treasures, like the Fire Island Lighthouse, where repairs have been suspended due to the dismantling of important government functions. Spread the word. Protect your history.

Lawmakers are being told not to hold in-person town hall meetings because people are being paid to attend and "disrupt" the meetings (evidence is in the mail, I guess). Meanwhile, we have some pretty hard evidence who is doing the paying for political influence and disruption.
