I believe the reason given for the deploying of government troops on American soil (against basic American history & values, at the expense of taxpayers, & with disruption for the lives of NG members, their families & employers) was to prevent federal buildings. Mission definitely not accomplished.

Here’s the sort of healthy America RFK and his ilk are trying to bring back (from Henry Knox: Visionary General of the American Revolution): “[Lucy Knox] had endured the deaths of nine of her twelve children.” No processed foods, plenty of fresh air and exercise... What could have killed them?

Troops were sent in to LA to protect immigration officers and protect federal property. But I haven’t seen any statistical analysis of how that went (e.g., injuries and damage costs before and after deployment). Did we save a lot of tax money? Save lives?

Comrade Miller is staying on script. In the Soviet police state, those who preferred personal Liberty over the perfection of a one-party oppressive regime that did your thinking for you were considered hooligans who were obviously mentally deficient. His use of the term “communists” is a tell.

Normally, I’d expect a study like this to cause a buzz amongst some of the medical professionals I follow. But given the current situation, I don’t think it will be very big news, except in sensationalist and pseudoscientific circles, where it will be leveraged to sell products and services.

This is great news, and will result in a nongovernmental, nonpartisan source of information that will save American lives, especially the youngest, oldest, and most vulnerable. There are very few people whose commitment to honesty, decency, humility, and hard work measure up to Mike Osterholm’s.
