I can’t wait to see what Leigh will do with this topic. Their earlier articles which touched upon the topic of disgust are giving me high hopes. I have no doubt that “Gross” will go down as one of the most interesting and most twisted science books of all.

Leigh’s prior book “Hurts So Good” is a masterful exploration of pain on purpose. It’s one of the most fascinating and insightful things you’ll ever read (I was lucky enough to consult on the pain science in the book).

I’ve been calling Leigh the best science writer in the world for many years. The reason for this is that they’re absolutely meticulous about the scientific details, and at the same time their writing is incredibly emotive. If Leigh wants you to feel something, you *will* feel it.
