I’m exhausted today, so I’m sharing Arley in unmoving states, largely thank to Rowan making it so.

The centaur gives the Arley a sidelong, and somewhat amused and knowing, look. They were meant to rise early, but Rowan doesn’t care; the boy doesn’t get as much sleep as he should. A painting of a centaur, named Rowan, sitting on a hill with dark grass and many little flowers, looking out into hilly forested landscape, which is warmly lit by the setting sun. Sitting and leaning against Rowan’s equine body is a young squire named Arley, who is hugging himself and looks lost in his own thoughts, his gaze aimlessly directed away from the view. He is wearing chain mail around his shoulders, over a blue cowl with the hood down, a surcoat over a pale grey thinny padded gambeson, trousers and boots. A painting looking down on a centaur and a squire, laying on their back in the long grass and talking. It is the darker hour of the dawn. The centaur, Rowan, is listening, appearing content, with his arms folded behind his head, quietly interested in whatever the young squire, named Arley, is getting off his chest. Arley has taken his shoes off, exposing his magic stone feet, which cross over each other in a manner mirrored by his hands that are also crossed on top of each other and rested on his chest. A sketch of a young squire named Arley, laying belly down on the ground with his face mostly planted in the grass, except the top half which is tilted up just enough for him to glare out into the world. His mood is one of the thoroughly fed up. His feet are made of magic stone and are engraved with intricate swirls that should be glowing. As of this moment they are not glowing, therefore not working. This observed, the source of the squire’s frustration becomes less of a mystery. Next to him is a centaur, named Rowan. The centaur is in a comical pose, with his back legs standing, his front legs kneeling and his humanoid body lounging on the ground as he props himself up on an elbow and looks at the squire with pitting amusement. His expression seems to ask ‘How you doing there, champ?’

did some changes to the BG tho. but not like it is taking away from the calming feel.
