Technology had a soul. Every piece of equipment had its own design, brave idea, and vision. Instead, everything must be flat, same-looking piece of soap nowadays. Monopolies on various steps of the supply chain result in similar-looking products, since deviation means extreme expenses.

Printers became sentient way before the AI hype. It would explain whey do whatever they want vs whatever we tell them.

And after 5 minutes the thing prints like 150 various test pages sitting there in a queue....

I used it also for a while, the biggest challenge for me are new laptops. Once in a while, something goes wrong during the initial setup/first boot, usually graphics card-related.
