did you also know that to feed dead bugs to a fly trap, after you get it to start closing you have to still gently pet the outside of the trap. its to trick it into thinking its live prey so itll start properly digesting. its my favorite part. love to pet and tickle my baby fly trap

we also have a tiny pitcher plant and i set it outside in the yard to get more sun today... and it is sooo fucking full of ants now its eating so good. so proud
