Bodily autonomy, trans stuff, asexuality, neurodivergence, and other assorted interests.

Queer, trans non-binary, agender, asexual, and autistic

(any pronouns)
If it helps, the physical changes don't happen that quickly. You'll have time to decide if it's not what you want.

I've had the same behavior for the past two days.

Any new account that I add to a moderation list won't get blocked.

Very weird.

It's more like wish fulfillment by fascists. Pretending some kind of trend exists.

Looking over the survey questions as a non-binary person, I wouldn't have answered most of them because they want me to misgender myself.

I'm not doing that for some survey.

I'm only two years away from not watching it.

Yeah. Trans people are very much aware that you don't care about us.

The least you can do is stop harassing us to vote for your shitty candidates.

Also weird that you blame the people who didn't vote rather than the ones who voted for trump. Go yell at them.

These recognitions affirm that i have equal protection under the law, that my right to bodily autonomy is sacrosanct and my body is not governed by the state, that i am able to exist freely and safely in public spaces, and fully participate in society. This is what legal validation looks like.

I'm really sorry. That's very understandable. We should be able to grieve as a community without outsiders acting like tourists.

It does get co-opted by corporations who use it to show how inclusive they are. However, I think we should take it back and not let them have it.

I do think that we as a community need a day to mourn the people we lose. To remember their lives. Because they mattered.

It really is disheartening. Especially for someone who is still figuring themselves out. Who still doesn't have the confidence to stand up for themselves.

That is a place where we can give hope and encouragement. Letting them know that the gatekeepers are just assholes who can be ignored.

Being failed by liberalism, over and over and over, probably helps with that. There's only so many empty promises someone can listen to while staring down fascism.

This society does everything it can to divide us. Yet, it still becomes clear that solidarity is the only way out.

Yeah, that's understandable. That really sucks. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

It does seem like the discouse is on an endless loop here. I just block the people who keep the worst of it going.

Thank you! I very much agree with all of this.

Mamdani's win gives me hope. I am very much not willing to settle for politicians who throw us under the bus or fake corporate DEI that upholds the status quo.

It's time for us to make demands. We got nowhere playing by their rules.

I think people do want to hear from us, but all they get is the corporate diversity mush. Bacause that's where all of the money is.

We survived. We might have a ton of trauma, but we're still here.

Maybe we can use that experience to help others survive. Hopefully, with far less trauma.

It’s the same playbook as DEI: limited inclusion but never to the point where the minority is represented or secure enough to advocate for themselves and influence the mainstream agenda. (Also same-sex marriage was a devil’s bargain and the respectable gays threw trans/SW comm under the bus)
