What I'm ashamed of, is not that I'm from Russia. But that I was too coward to stand more firmly. I still stood against evil, but yet was too careful -- that I feel shame for, not for where I'm from.

Just stand against evil, and then don't be ashamed whereever you are from. Some people may still shame (generic) you, just disregard them as not smart people: smart people always look into nuances.

It is especially annoying to listen MAGA explaining that with Trump the US is respected, and with Biden it was laughed at. I wish MAGA wasn't stupid and poor enough and was able to travel to Europe and talk to people once in their lives.

Well, I hope on the next elections those Americans will finally go an vote. On the POTUS election only 64% voted, and almost a half of them voted for Trump. If only like two additional %s voted for the candidate that supports Ukraine, the world would've had Kamala instead of Trump.

The problem is the absence of any mechanisms to keep EU resistant from these issues: another consensus mechanism (without veto power), or federalist institutions or anything else.
If you want really enforce anti-corruption after acceptation, you do need federation.
