I've found it's so hard to get folks into even acclaimed movies if they don't already know them, like if it doesn't sound like a crowd pleaser or isn't pop culture then it's usually brushed off as pretentious or whatever, which idk movies are a pretty enjoyable medium there's a lot of good stuff!!
