I used to use warm water, washing up liquid and window cleaner and scrub it with a toothbrush. Otherwise I'd always find bits where the paint slipped.
IPA is a smart idea, I'll have to give it a go next time I get some FW resin.

Copying other people's work and trying to figure out how they did things is a really good call.
I used to just buy interesting things to draw/paint with and on and play around and find out what I enjoyed. That's how I found out I enjoyed painting on fabric.

I hate the need to explain everything and every backstory to every item. It's really ruining good stories for me. I love a little mystery.

I watched Final Destination as a teenager and it didn't scare me at the time, but it still affects so much of what I do. I change lanes to avoid lorries carrying anything that might go through my windscreen in a freak accident. A generation traumatised.

There's always a fun reason a magic user could be an owl. Wild Shape, spell went wrong, spell went right... 😁
@fenrisgames.com can probably confirm but I think he's only over an inch tall.
Also their models drybrush up so well. Here's a bear I drybrushed earlier as an example.
