I don't think I'll ever be famous enough to be on "hot ones" but my amazing wife brought the experience home for me to test my might. A very happy early Christmas gift for me!

Repurposed a gaming computer (RIP gaming) to make a functional editing studio upstairs. Because being a freelancer and a parent to a little dude is a huge juggling act. At least my habit of hoarding gear is paying off 😆

Compared against an MXL 990. Rode is left and top. It's noise floor is lower but not as much as it should be.

Noticed my NT1 didn't sound quite right. When I opened it there was so much dust it looked like a casserole! So I did the unthinkable and decided to clean the capsule. Apparently I need to get the keyboard on this desk next.
