The idea that they "suspended their own MPs in the name of keeping kids poor" is a misread of the situation. They suspended 7 MPs for defying the first Labour King's speech in over 14 years over an SNP ammendment that was obviously bait.

Lifting the cap was, quite rightly, always on this gov's agenda but you can't just do everything that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside on day 1.

For every transphobe who is platformed, we need at least 2 other people being platformed who go “yeah no, protect the dolls”.
