I grew up working in my dad's small town grocery store, I know how hard the work is, thanks for all you do! Nothing prepared me more for life than dealing with being bitched at by customers for the stupidest shit, haha. Still sucks though.

My boss rather proudly presented a chatgpt doc that didn't actually relate to our work recently. I think he inputted like 3 words. We showed him something we researched and put together 5 years ago on our shared drive. Our old one is relevant and bonus! easy to read but guess which he preferred.

Yes, I've been jealous of friends with low cost postsecondary options in Germany, but they were placed in that track at age 10. If they don't think you're suited for uni by that age, the hurdles are pretty big after that. Pros and cons to all systems.

My kid and I still laugh and laugh at a roald Dahl insult: you stagnant cesspool!

By using the notwithstanding clause pre-emptively - which, again, they *can* but *need not* do - the UCP is not simply admitting that their laws are breaching Charter rights and bypassing the courts.

They are further admitting that their laws cannot be justified in a free and democratic society.

The olfactory nerves are different but my husband had sinus surgery and hadn't been able to detect smell for years due to polyps, one year after surgery his sense of smell came back!

I used a wheelchair briefly in 2019 and honestly everyone should try it out to gain a bit of empathy, it blew my mind how ridiculous everyone around me became. Not to mention lack of accessible spaces! Especially in healthcare facilities!

This is also my experience. Sometimes I wonder if it's a birth order thing? But most likely just personality.

Hard to keep track too. I thought I was so prepared to drop a kid off at running club ON TIME this morn but jk! It's a PD day! For anyone else who sees this and thinks how could you forget that we are privileged to have day care in the school so often don't always remember until dropoff.

Reminds me of when people would ask how far along I was when I was pregnant with twins, ha.

When people talk about there being so many more allergies now I let them know those kiddos used to just die so maybe can be more chill about accommodating their real, true, nobody's fault allergies.
