I used to hang out with Dutchies a fair amount back in HK, and there was a pretty frequent feeling of "have I forgotten English, or had a stroke? They're clearly speaking the same language as me but I understand about 1 word in 10"...

If there's DRM, unfortunately it's not a book you're buying - it's a license to read a book under conditions which can be changed at any time, including limiting how you can read it, inability to share it or pass it on, etc.
