Will Lewis has destroyed the Post both reputationally and financially within *two years* of taking over. Now, let's not forget to give due credit to Bezos here but man, what a loser.

First thought is New Noise by Refused, which would have a strong intimidation factor, but I also like the idea of walking up to Wayfarer by Hot Water Music, with the crowd joining in for the gang vocals
if you were a closer in major league baseball what would your entrance music be

I’ve held off canceling my WaPo sub because everyone always says I should support the regular journalists there doing good work, but…. I’m out.
Bezos basically did to the Washington Post exactly what Elon Musk did to Twitter
This op-ed is extraordinarily authoritarian. Uses outright lies to justify illegal attack on Harvard and cruelty toward international students. A whiff of fascism. How could WaPo run this?

The most craven part of this is the way Sam Altman obsequiously praised and credited Trump when he announced it

I’m 6’4” and will help when asked 100 times out of 100. I find reaching tall spots flat-footed to be delightful and helping someone who needs it costs me nothing
My husband sent me this and I'm wondering why she's still upset when it sounds like the person accepted her no and went to get someone else for help. Are tall people really that offended if a shorter person asks for help? Because I will ask tall people if something is out of reach

Wife LOVES all of the football documentaries, so even knowing what we were in for, wanted to give the Aaron Rodgers one a try. First episode was mildly hagiographic, but fine and an interesting reminder of his arrival and the Favre nonsense. Then, RFK Jr. showed up in the second ep, and we were out

@reckless.bsky.social I’m subscribed to Command Line currently. Is that going to be converted to a site sub since the price is the same, or should I cancel it in order to sub to the site? Either way is fine, just a little confused as to where to shove my money!

Here’s something cool I hadn’t considered wrt starter packs until this morning: wanting more context for what’s happening in Korea, I found a Koreanist starter pack that allowed me to instantly follow a bunch of people tracking what’s going on. Pretty cool, and an advantage over other platforms
