Last month @kalayaan.org.uk had a special event in Parliament, "Breaking the Silence". Domestic workers under the Overseas Domestic Worker Visa shared their experience on the effects of the visa and the need for change. Grateful to all speakers and to Lord German who opened the afternoon.

I've been greatly enjoying my visit as a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School, teaching Human Rights at Work, presenting research, interacting with brilliant colleagues and students. Seeing kangaroos has been a special highlight during my visit.

Can workers lose their job because of social media posts? Do they have a right to strike or free speech?

This June, I teach an executive course UCL with Nicola Countouris, George Letsas and Colm O'Cinneide,
where we’ll answer these questions and more.
