The more niche ones as well. And the smaller news outlets. But let's take it slow and steady. Better develop the platform to a decent state first, populate it later.

Also, on Android when you press on the three dots on a post, the menu that appears is white even if I have dark mode enabled. Would like to see that changed.

Glad that both the frontend and the backend parts are getting improvements, I've seen too many apps that either have a nice UI but the backend is trash, either the backend is good but the frontend is unusable. Keep it going!

To be honest I find it quite interesting. Definitely would like to see how these decentralised social medias will progress in the future.

Transport costs? Gas is expensive so a lot.
Distance to the city center or other important locations? Big.
Comfort? If you get used to living there, probably yes, but at what cost?

On the other side, for example, there is Romania. It simply doesn't have the money to upgrade a whole outdated train network and the politicians see this as an unprofitable waste of time. Suburbs are not properly planned, which leads to traffic and then another pile of problems too hard to solve.

This change needs to come from how the budget is spent. Countries in Europe such as The Netherlands and Switzerland have managed to invest a lot of money in bike/train infrastructure and now it pays off. They left behind the "just one more lane!" way to do the things, unlike other countries.

Completely agree, but unfortunately in many countries getting a driver's licence and a car is still regarded as a major milestone in one's life. This (old) mentality, which I noticed especially in less developed countries, needs to be changed with the help of better urban planning. And fast.

So happy to be part of this, I genuinely believe BlueSky is a true alternative to other social media apps like Twitter (now X), Threads or Mastodon. Good luck with working on v2, I will surely be a massive milestone for the team!
