Another quality of life improvement for the painting set up with these. I was struggling with the smaller scale stuff last week and I think the problem was the point on my old zero brush gave out. Fingers crossed for these, the brush seems nice and full.

As the Great Reordering nears completion, I'm obsessed with these; American War of Independance British, 10mm by Pendraken (one of their best ranges imho, so many poses.)

I found it smoothed out base colours fine, didn't add much else.
I based my 10mm Dwarves with GW grey seer, then a shade wash, apoth white contrast, then back to normal acrylic white.
To me, it looks good, and I know how much effort went in.
Not sure how worse a base shade drybrush would look tho

Kitbashed these twelve #Konflikt '47 Axis Grenadiers from a few different Warlord sprues (mostly from WI magazine & freebies.)
Some helmets from the Vogelspinne kit, the remainder will have heads once an order arrives.
I like the idea of them being armed them to teeth.

Right. After a few days of the "New Shiny" back to #Midgard and Dwarves.
38 warriors done, 18 wip, 2 heroes *mostly* done, 4 cannon & crew also wip. The last 20 warriors (I have) about to be drybrushed white.
Btw, I thought this whole zenithal/shaded base coats was bollocks, but it works a treat.

I can leave them aplain wood colour, or mirror the yellow/blue/white of the uniform and some patterns. Or use a spot colour (but I can't picture how they'd look.)
