I think the main objection was being good at assembling and repairing things, shortly followed by wearing lipstick in fun colours, and comfortable clothes. Then they generally switched to telling me my best bet was playing the cello A LOT. I genuinely worried about them sometimes tbh

Exactly! I wish I could store boxes because you need at least ten before it's worth listing them for pickup. And the local Free Shop really doesn't want more bubble wrap because they have ALL THE OTHER THINGS to process already. And people move house all the time!

Every time I've moved house I've given the boxes away after and people absolutely need them to move house and put stuff in storage. Why do we by default block up the recycling bins with good cardboard boxes?? Yes this kept me up at night
