Honestly I do really wanna run more of it, and let players get real wild with it. Even level 1 heroes on that game are able to do a lot in combat, and the builds I'm seeing folks put together are really interesting.

Almost makes me think about Lancer's Sitreps section subtly implying that "just deathmatch/exterminate it" isn't the suggested method of engagement. It feels like Draw Steel might work a bit better if resorting to violence is done with purpose and intent especially. But I might be overthinking it.

I'm looking at running it Very episodic and I'm not sure how well it pivots and makes good full start/stop points. Combat feels like it'll almost never be under an hour, and kinda feels like it asks for there to be a bit more intent and purpose than in more traditional d20 games.

This five-point meridian strike is meant to make your head burst like an overripe melon, but it turns out it only works on people who have peripheral nerve damage from chronic vitamin B12 deficiency, which everyone did at the time. If you take your multivitamins it just makes your ears ring.
