If it's a precious book, I wonder, if they're ok? Did it\\the book lose its meaning? Was it so profound to them, they bought a new copy so they could share this one?

If I had to pick my don't miss place in Kansas for wildflowers it would be Big Basin Prairie Preserve north of Englewood, Clark County. It's a State Park, no pass needed. Take scenic US-160 across the Red Hills (photo) to get there. Except maybe in the heat/drought of August or September.
