Finally, the work of Voices and other organizations working toward justice, DEIB, etc., is critical at this time. I'm feeling so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this values-aligned work at the state/local level and look forward to seeing what the next chapter has in store 🎉

A significant portion of my PhD journey has involved grappling with questions relating to justice and community impact, beyond citations/peer-reviewed publications that live behind a paywall. This has led me to community-engaged and participatory research, which I hope to continue in this new role!
