China is correct actually. And honestly this is a very poor decision not well thought out. The last thing we need right now is "drill baby drill" for deep sea minerals. This is headed for litigation in world courts for sure

I expected that climate change if left unaddressed would lead to fascism. I am surprised to see that it is the other way around.

I just mentioned this to Greenfyre, who pointed out that it’s a vicious cycle, each catastrophe reinforcing the other.

Anyway, bummer, right?

There is very little need to wait... The path ahead is well known by now. Time to get walking it TOGETHER. Climate denial and infrastructure cancelation only delays the inevitable... Sooner or probably later the deniers will get on the path as well.

It is unfathomable that Companies and Communities will continue to try to circumvent the process. There are multiple technologies... Pick one. Zero reason for failings to occur except the will to spend the capital and effort to stop them
