Dude, noone is trying to take cars away from people who need them. It was never brought up. And yes, if we as society tried to create an alternative for the scenario presented we would have one. We literally just dont have the drive as humans. Currently they would need a car and thats fine.

Because with separate infrastructure, it wouldnt be an issue for either person. The biker doesnt have to get smashed into the pavement and die and the driver doesnt have to wait patiently for 30 seconds or get mildly or extremely annoyed for no reason. Win win. So support it drivers or dont complain

Every person who acts upset about anything a bike does has the same mentality as this homicidal lazy moron that tried to kill me with his car. Its all human ego and there is no logic to being upset about what bikes do especially if you dont support separate infrastructure that works for them.

I yielded at a stop recently and a car behind me sped up after the stop and yelled at me through their window that i needed to stop at signs and then proceeded to intentionally hit me with their car because they were so incensed. Their daughter was in the car. Just a fun story for everyone.

They were just very concerned about the safety and legality of what I did so they tried to murder me. Its easier when everyone is judge jury and executioner. With cars, its reality!

Thing is dems have always known that the only option is to fight dirty like Republicans, but if Democrats did that they would be working for people, and so they just pretend to “take the high road” so they don’t have to do anything and their donors priorities get achieved through Republicans

Go off but be prepared for someone with perspective to counter your critiques. there are little to no implications of bike behavior to you besides that you might accidentally kill that person. And then we are back to the fundamental issue of why you were even operating something that could do that.

Like even if you genuinely tru to follow all the rules while driving you can and do still cause huge damage and death and a small mistake can change everyones lives. Its unacceptable that we sit and critique bicycles purely from the vantage of human ego instead of any practicality.

I think you lost track of what we were talking about. My hypothetical is meant to illustrate that lights are not needed when cars dont exist and that means they are car infrastructure. I guess you got mixed up because i am here living in this car infested hellhole with you. Rest assured

Nobody is trying to eliminate cars, so I don’t get why you’re saying this. This obscure example of a made up person doesnt justify your use of a car or our entire infrastructure catering only to cars and forcing people to own them/ be murdered by them all day every day.

Yeah but those wouldnt be necessary if cars didnt exist. Thats what I’m saying. A flag or even just a crossing would do because bikes cant typically go over 22mph and killing someone with an impact by bike is next to impossible.
