fyi, the current open beta sdk for vrc will break most avatar projects using physbone-related tools, including gesture manager due to a change in the sdk itself

call me crazy but im actually of the opinion right now that linux is *only* useful as a desktop os if youre doing development (web or xplat) or gaming
proton has come really far, but if youre a AAA andy, youre still outta luck

So every time I mention a windows problem someone suggests Linux and unless things have dramatically changed I feel like Linux is pretty useless for someone who's livestreaming new PC games nearly every day

the unity developers have not added scaling to macos or linux for their editor, so its impossible to use on hidpi screens, its honestly so fucking comical
on top of this linux maintainers just fight constantly over handling window scaling
no wonder people think this os is a joke

windows has finally decided to full screen block input and force me to update to the next feature update so ive swapped to endeavour again this week, we will be trying our best to make things work this time because i truely cannot be fucked to use that shithole operating system anymore

spectre 2.1.0 is put, its now on sveltekit 5 and tailwind 4, now that ive updated the frontend, its time to rebuild the backend
i want to make the app work a bit more offline, and lower the overall amount of requests it makes, though vrc's api makes effeciency a bit tricky

finally got cpu upgrades for my server in today, tried to get the best possible single-threaded performance while still having enough threads to host multiple games ^^ were on 2x e5-2667v4's now, until i can build a newer platform server

update: evga is sending me a replacement fan on this 5 year old card, they really were the best we had man :(
my center gpu fan nearly caught fire due to destroyed bearings last night, so i pulled it apart while drunk, removed the fan, and zip tied a case fan to it lmao...

i gave linux a try for a week again, but unfortunately some critical tools i use don't have support, causing me to have to resort to windows for a huge chunk of my work right now
