What didn’t kill me didn’t make me stronger.
It gave me crippling anxiety, a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms, some really nasty nightmares, the ability to drink enough caffeine to kill a horse, and made me into a cynic who cusses way more than necessary.

The Trump ordeal has made one thing clear.
Too many of our checks and balances rely on norms, traditions and the honor code.
It works when those elected into power are people of honor and integrity who respect our norms and traditions.
Elect a lifelong criminal and it all goes sideways.

I thought that if I read all angles, it would help keep me centered but half of the country doesn't believe in facts anymore and being here has made me realize that X is literally making people dumber. smh

My favorite thing about bluesky is we can disagree about stuff like Garland, but no one is a huge asshole about it. Everyone is super-nice and people make genuine points and ask legit questions. Thanks for that!!
