If I'm there to listen and absorb *and nothing else* then crochet helps me stay focused. Otherwise I'm an inveterate doodler and note-taker. I'm interested in the walking pad though - is it not a bit noisy for meetings, or that not really an issue with a headset?

I do that too! Particularly when excited or nervous and I'm just info-dumping (it's been happening a lot during inductions 😅)

We did our gold in October half term in the Lake District. Winds of 60mph at the tops of mountains, boggy and flooded at the bottom. Aborted halfway through because one of our campsites became an unreachable island..so hopefully yours will fare better!
