Today was one of those days when I questioned my choices, my purpose , my academic path, thought about my failures, looked at the half empty glass. But then I remember I’m didn’t back off in applying for jobs, I’m writing articles, and I’m volunteering in a bookshop. I will get there hopefully?

I am very sad and worried about the new proposed reforms about Graduate Visa, which will impact a lot of my friends and colleagues, if it is approved. And no Labour will not get back votes because that was not what was criticised. I really hope for the best.

Cried a little bit after another interview was not successful and the rejection email coming today. Thinking about the feedback I received after another interview, which was not successful for the same position. Feedback was only positive things. What am I doing wrong?

General question: is it normal to have been received only one interview invitation in 4 months? Let me know. I’ve been to career services to enhance my CV and cover letter writing as well as I’ve asked to proofread my stuff.

I don't have any aesthetically pleasing pictures, but "A Prophet Song" by Paul Lynch just brought me out of my 1'year reading slump, so thank you, Paul.

Also, as I am looking for jobs, I plan to start a new book- related project.

Felt a little bit discouraged today while job hunting and thinking about the future as everything is uncertain. Then I remembered that in my home country it is even more difficult to find something in my field. Hope tomorrow is better

After nearly 2 months of job-hunting I am having an interview in 10 days for a part time position! Fingers crossed!
