Government should not be run “like a business”. Businesses are designed to make the owner rich. Government should be run like a collective, where decisions are made to benefit the whole, with consideration paid to the individual members’ well-being.

Let’s stop describing anyone, especially ourselves, as “concerned” in a professional context. I can think of several more direct ways of expressing oneself.
