We began an academic project at Oulu Univ, Finland, exploring #commonisation #decommonisation as historical processes to draw lessons for future #ecologicalgovernance.
We now continue this dialogue at Kagawa University, Takamatsu, Japan, from 26 September to 2 October 2025.

The Khasi tribes of Meghalaya NE India, build very long bamboo bridges across rivers and valleys. These natural flyovers passed through dense jungle and wetlands & connected remote villages, averting the danger of wildlife. It symbolises a deep bond between the Khasi people and their environment.
