I felt this post in my bones!

I made a great allusion to “washing my hands of a situation like Pontius Pilate” at work a few weeks ago and was met with blank stares. I also live in the Bible Belt so this confirms to me the public at large just doesn’t read. That’s a big moment in the lore!

I am soooo grateful I didn’t have kids when I was in my early 20s. I was a bad enough babysitter & violin teacher, with all of the toxic authoritarianism & “repentance” trash I had yet to unlearn. My kids would’ve had a miserable first few years of life
