Sometimes I forget basic English words and end up coming up with interesting descriptions.
Today I said “mad sheep with horns” instead of “goat” and “hairy pig with huge fangs” instead of “boar.

Bluesky is kind of odd. Nothing Trek-related ever showed up in my Discover feed… until the exact moment I put on my Starfleet pajamas.

Me: When universities first appeared, bookshops run by a stationer rented out #books in sections (pecia), so several students could copy them at once and speed up the copying process.
Him: Not sure that’ll help with the exam, but it’ll definitely help you sound like a know-it-all.

I read No Word From Gurb in Spanish—a surreal, very Barcelonian novel full of Catalan-influenced expressions. There’s an English translation… but no urban dialect equivalent.

Sometimes it feels like Spanish translations take more risks than English ones.

I feel less creative when I have more friends — like talking every day quietly drains my energy.
Alone, I get so much more done.
Some friendships feel exciting, not toxic.
Only later you realize how much creative space they were consuming.

It's been a while since my last update!
I started working on a new card game—this one’s much simpler than my previous one—but I got a bit stuck with the illustrations. Then I joined a local theatre group (which has been amazing but time-consuming), so the game was on pause for a while.

Just finished The Girl on the Train and I’m not sure how to feel about it. If the author’s goal was to make readers frustrated by the shallow characters, guess the killer halfway through, and hate Rachel for her bad decisions... well, she nailed it. #TheGirlOnTheTrain #Books #Thriller #booksky

Just finished "Before the Coffee Gets Cold" by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. The stories are emotional, but I can’t ignore the portrayal of women vs. men. Women are expected to be perfect, smart, multilingual, and selfless, while men come off as mediocre, uncommunicative, and loved just for existing.
