Everyone is correct--do NOT quit your current job unless you have another one lined up, even if your current job makes you want to claw your eyes out. (Btw I left my last one because medical reasons left me unable to do the job any longer, so def not my choice to leave) 6/6

Just what is going on here? Are companies trying to punish job seekers because no one will accept less than $15 an hour now? I really am stunned and confused as to why this is the state of the job market. 5/?

I have a bachelor's degree. In desperation, I turned to cashier job applications, which turned into MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF INTERVIEWS per company, like I was applying for a regional vice president position instead of an entry level one. The new job I have now I literally got the week that I received 3/?

Every week, I got *multiple* emails from companies I applied to, saying they were not hiring at the time EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE LISTING AS SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR SPECIFIC JOBS. I got rejection emails due to not being qualified from jobs listed as only needing a high school diploma to qualify. 2/?
