i think items we use in daily life should return to manual input over automatic processes. i think i should have to manual set my phone clock for daylight savings, little things like that would make it so i'm more lucidly present in my own life :)

one time my english teacher in my freshman year of high school was asked if he could save his wife or his kid from a house fire, he answered his wife, which would have been fine if not for how readily he followed it up with "i can make more kids" 😀
