Sadiq Khan meanwhile is an intensely popular three-times elected mayor of a city that is still majority white and previously voted for Boris Fucking Johnson. It’s clearly not some far out left-wing Islamic theocracy (if such a thing even exists).

About a year ago I was in London and was walking around Stoke Newington and stopped to take some photos of some tiles outside a mosque in Stoke Newington. A Muslim guy who worked there asked me if I’d like a tour inside, I said yes and I took off my shoes and he walked me around the whole place.

While we’re at it, my brother, sister-in-law, niece (one more on the way) and many of my oldest friends live there and are having a great time.
