One last book and I'll shut up: The Great Deluge (Hurricane Katrina aftermath) by Douglas Brinkley. Riveting.

And though it's been many decades, And The Band Played On about that AIDS epidemic in SFO by Randy Shilts and Helter Skelter in the early 80s by Vincent Bugliosi

Also found The Great Bridge: Building of the Brooklyn Bridge by David McCullough to be fascinating though I cheated and listened to an unabridged audiobook on a long car trip along with Roald Dahl's book about his spy years, The Irregulars which was also good.

Make it so.

Fact.

Like genetics most homeowners have no control of the location of hydrants or regional hazards. Athletes and people injured at/by work are high consumers of medical care but you never hear about that from these boneheads. More moral panic that's less than helpful.

In fact high use of the healthcare system is done by extreme athletes or people injured at/by work but you NEVER hear these boneheads talk about that.

His own argument voids much of his point. Like genetics, homeowners have little choice about where hydrants are located or control of the hazards endemic to their regions.

It was always a war on women. Trying to jam us back onto the delivery table popping kids out like a Pez dispenser, chained to the home due to the steep cost of childcare so we have to accept substandard men to help us. Trapped by uncontrolled fertility. Fuck that.

My advice for Walsh: Quit ordering from chains you cheap bastard.

This. Now that they've lost the battle in Congress they are trying to mitigate for friends and donors. A big old NOPE on that.

So disappointed in corporate owned media right now.

Go get 'em young folks but don't forget this moment as apparently many Boomers did post Vietnam War getting caught up in the "all you can consume" game which has become an end unto itself to the peril of our nation and the earth.

LOL!

We looked for a smaller 2 bed/2 bath house with a basement on a big lot for serious gardening & a few fruit trees. Not to be found. The incentive for builders is the biggest houses possible with cheap foundations on tiny lots since square ft sells, the lot does not & they're cheaper to build big.

Piggishness is not just about being fat. It's about over-consumption and greed and hoarding. All of which fit trump. All of which we can and should talk about. I'm fine turning the moniker that he bullied that not fat reporter right back on him.

The truth is an affirmative defense.
November 18, 2025 at 11:24 PM
Your questions and the fact that they needed to be asked is the indictment of access reporting.
November 18, 2025 at 11:22 PM
All about the access. Fuck that.
