It’s like having a Pina Colada in your mind, but with a sweet, honey-like scent all around. The taste is just as strong, with a bright, fresh lemon that helps keep everything balanced. This is a great food wine, Sunday roast pork or big rich

The Sauvignon Dunk is fermented and rested in not quite full, seasoned French barriques for about 18 months. Blended with 8% 2021 Dunk, their first composition from an infant Solera system. This wine has a really strong, aromatic flavor that reminds me of both fruit and winemaking.

Started in 1999 the vines are now reaching 25 years old and into the range of confident greatness. Organic practices have been a huge part of the process for a long time while water is used very sparingly as the temperatures rise each year.

As a wine lover, especially the Taittinger family palette, the future at @domaineevremond is exciting. The quality of a first showing has clearly been taken with upmost care and it’s genuinely perfect. That future wines, perhaps even aging as we speak, will turn into an iconic vintage on release.

The length has a kandy pop, red grapes, yes grapes, strawberry, apple skin, hint of cognac and continues to cycle through flavours as the bubbles pop. This isn’t a throw away cheap sparkling, this is a serious statement from a superpower as they plant their flag firmly on the moon

Crème soda on the nose, with vibrant bubbles. In the glass as you drink the bright red apple aromatics turn to a crunch of orchard fruit salad.
The evolution of delicious fruits, soft ripe pear, hints of banana, green apple and length for days with an acidic spine hinting at real aging greatness.

The wine composition is a harmonious blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Meunier. Fermented and matured exclusively in stainless steel vats, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. It then ages for 3 years in bottles, resulting in a refined and exquisite beverage.

this wine is beyond question in heritage but most importantly flavour. That flavour was the stand out for me, there is a power and concentration of fruit that elevates above what a usual Rhone classic like CNDP produces. Hand picked and first sorted in the vineyards,

We have some special vintage offerings coming but while we wait this was an absolute stand out. Pi is the Popes ChateauNeuf, 40yr old Grenache vines are at the very walls of the castle that was the Popes centuries ago. Authenticity in wine is sometimes’s faked,

The vines would climb up olive and fig trees, which were also grown there, giving protection from hot sunny days. The similarity to Semillon is very clear and further proves areas like the Bekka Valley can mimic Bordeaux terroir better than any other spot on the planet.

Merweh is a grape that has been blended with others for white wines, here the winemaker is at the front of the trend to make 100% from just Merweh. The wines are usually full-bodied and have flavours of citrus and nuts. Back in the day, Merwah was grown on the terraces of Mount Lebanon.
