After 2 years and 57 days, this streak is about to come to an end. It might make it another day or two, but after that I will be off in the mountains and very much unable to continue satisfying the green owl's requirements.

My current car came with ants, back in 2017!

(It was my grandma's, and she apparently hadn't opened the passenger door in a while.)

It's the "couple walking together and the dude turns to look at another woman while his partner looks at him in disgust" meme. Only, the other woman in this version is Medusa in a red dress. Obviously, the man has turned to stone as a result of his stare, and his girlfriend has not. I hope she can get her hand out of his and move on with her life. (And yeah, it's been edited so that they're all wearing ancient-Greek-inspired clothes. I really hope this was made by an actual human and not done with AI, but I'm not confident.)

Gee.... whatever could I be crazy enough to plan for my next turn around the sun?
A screenshot from the Gaia GPS map program. It shows a map of most of the Western US, as well as bits of Mexico and Canada. There is a string of waypoints and gpx tracks that follow the continental divide suspiciously closely, almost as though whoever took this screenshot needed to know where they could get food every 70-100 miles or so. You can't tell it from the picture, but the data have been entered north to south, because that is the correct direction to go, and direction of travel is definitely not the subject of occasional pointless arguments.

I majored in art & scenic design, yet somehow I repeatedly forget that I can draw. But then there's days like today where I find myself in an "Oh shit, I don't have time to build the thing, guess I've gotta sketch it before this meeting," and...

I've gotta believe in myself more, y'all.

Man. Feels weird to be *this* homesick for a wilderness I only spent two weeks in, but I do.

Thankfully, it's covered in snow right now, so I can't just run away into it all. I'll save that for the summer.

I hope this isn't an inappropriate message to send in a work group chat after someone said "We'll be fine," because fuck you, no, I won't be fine. So I said it.

I am full of words on this for a variety of reasons, so I may come back to this to spew some more later. For now, here's a stolen picture of my favorite Kannonically non-binary character.

They are the bodhisattva of compassion, and will appear in whatever form is most able to relieve a being's suffering. In this statue, it is difficult to tell if they are meant to be a man or a woman.
