Thanks for the platform! My best seller is a book about a cat who feels humans have been king of the hill for long enough. With like-minded feline revolutionaries, she prepares to overthrow humankind.

Things do not go as planned.

As long as it reads well, too.

Same as my copy. Swag, Unknown Man, High Noon in Detroit - they're all great. Fifty-Two Pickup was unpleasant in too many ways. Loved Cat Chaser, LaBrava. I think LaBrava was the last before Stick the movie came out, and the magic kind of dulled after that.

Worst part, from my point of view, is that after the movie was made, Leonard fell into the fame machine and never got back out. His books became more simplistic, more Hollywood-ready. Gone was the gritty complexity of, say, Unknown Man #89.

I always start every session by re-reading the past three or four days' work. It seems to me that's how you're supposed to do it.

Read it during the pandemic. Love the way his art training saves him when he's on the verge of......well, maybe you're not there yet. Harrowing novel, brilliant themes. Loved it.

Hi - Tell you the truth, I've never thought about it. With work work, writing fiction and all the usual family stuff, I'm normally swamped. I've been dabbling with getting on Kobo, but even that's a stretch.

I was considerably older when I pûblished my first. And considerably older than that for the one that just came out. Who cares? On the Web, your author photo always looks like you're 35! ;-)

As an aside, identical twins not having identical fingerprints - that's a plot twist for a mystery novel right there.
