...and also thanks to the @soilsdbg.bsky.social for borrowing me their great educational material, including the 🪱-boxes, where the kids can observe bioturbation live in their classroom over the coming weeks.

Believe it or not, I actually used this one in the introduction of my PhD defense 😅

Jupp, I understand that these are automatically generated and I am truly grateful to all the editors and reviewers that keep the system running, but there has to be a way for the publishers (and this not only Elsevier, but virtually all of them) to make the 🕰 stop ticking over the weekend 🤨

Yes, I am also grateful if my own papers go through the review process quickly. But even (or better, "especially") as an author, I wouldn't want the journals to send reminders to my reviews on weekends, as this is not very likely to improve the mood with which they will attend my paper 😬

🥰 Many thanks, Ines. It was really great to have you and your very motivated students here. It is wonderful to see that the next generation of soil scientists at @ruhr-uni-bochum.de has been very well trained by you and Steffi🤓 💪

"...as global citizen scientists, we must therefore continue to advocate for the value of science, with the hope that our political leaders will embrace and support, rather than dismiss and reject science, for the betterment of earth and future generations."

As a future reader of your book chapter😉, I'd love to see a section on how soil fauna influences the physical structure of soil (and vice versa). There's a really cool review on this (maybe you already know this one, but just in case) doi.org/10.1016/j.so...
