So thanks to the change in glam for 7.4, I’ve now got In Fulgur and Fire stuck in my due to running Vanguard on and off. With that, here’s is my #wolqotd: Your WoL gets the ability to hear the duty, region, or raid music the player hears, but only for one of those. What music do they hear?

For me, it depends on the time frame. Modern day me, it’s probably been Akane Tsunemori from Psycho-pass. High school me, Nitz from Undergrads. More so games themselves were formative vs the characters in them, like Deus Ex, Earthbound, and Command & Conquer.

I think the one thing I’ve learned in terms of US politics is that moderates on both sides of the spectrum flourish and can only function within their respective parties at this time if there is a filibuster. If it’s gone, they’d have to break off and risk making another party to have a shot.

I’ve tried to get away from calling situations this, but I’ll write it like this for clarity: most situations are not black and white (binary), but are shades of grey (a spectrum). You don’t get the same emotion from a spectrum that you do from a binary. That’s your need for being tribal kicking in.

The core reason Luthen’s quote from Andor sticks with me is because it brings up the idea that in times of strife, you have to be willing to risk something to win, knowing full well you won’t be able to see the change you want. It’s probably why I relate to the quote more these days.

The core reason Luthen’s quote from Andor sticks with me is because it brings up the idea that in times of strife, you have to be willing to risk something to win, knowing full well you won’t be able to see the change you want. It’s probably why I relate to the quote more these days.
If I’m honest, I don’t think any political party in the US can truly be united. We’re too geographically dispersed to achieve that. We have too many local or even state level competing factors.
That doesn’t mean you don’t fight, but what it does mean is scale accordingly. That’s just me though.

Here is my WoL’s faithful Chocobo companion Chocoborealis. Play on words are always fun so the name felt good. He’s strong, able to heal or tank in a pinch, can fly, and really cool with whatever barding seems fun. Always up for joining provided he gets a green.
