This is why the @nws.noaa.gov and their storm spotters measure snow depth on a snow board (which of course I didn’t have time to setup)

- ~4” in cylindrical rain gauge
- ~5” on grass
- 3” on patio table
- 2.5” on the patio

And because we don’t waste anything in our house, I juiced the 22 lemons and made lemonade (not pictured) and saved 8 one-ounce pours of lemon juice to freeze for future cocktails

About 8.5” collected in the gauge. ~7” depth in the grass, 5” on the propane tank cover, 3+” on the driveway

3.5” on the snow board at 7am. Definitely had some compaction with sleet on top

I wouldn’t be surprised if it compacted even more with the heavy mix we’ve received over the last few hours
