Thanks for the tips. I will try the downsampling and trying different resolution ranges was what I was thinking as well. I barely see some of the TMs within the micelle in 2D and there is not much outside the membrane region. Your method allowed seeing most of the TMs so progress..

Thanks for posting this and the preprint! We tried your method for a small membrane protein and definitely saw an improvement, but not a complete breakthrough yet. Can you comment about limitations of this method for membrane proteins?
