There are already a surprisingly high number of games on Steam that were released this year. I'm sure that most of them are shovelware or worse (AI storybooks and asset flips), but hey... plenty of options!

Overtime is fine if it's completely voluntary. But forcing (or pressuring heavily) for overtime is not okay. I generally work 37,5h/week (+lunch so in actuality 40h/week) but I'm glad to do some weekends for some extra money. But you really need to have the option to not work. Rest is important.

To be fair, save states are way easier and faster anyway, so I hardly ever save the regular way. But yeah, they should definitely fix this.

I think Expedition 33 deserved the win (haven't played it yet myself though). However, The Game Awards barely has anything to do with what people actually like. Jury has 90% of the votes while the public only has 10%, barely enough to make a difference.

Better not jump to conclusions. It was about a modded Joy-Con with a transparent shell, so this problem is with the assembly, not the hardware itself (although I'm sure some people have already managed to break them anyway).

I was genuinely interested in this book but that price is insane. I can only assume it's going to translate to at least 125€ as well, so I think I'll pass.

At least some of the older Resident Evil games have a limited save count. Not sure about the new ones.

Bananza already had a fairly sizeable post-game, though. It felt like a complete game even before this DLC in my opinion.

I agree, but then again, these are (relatively) early bosses, so it makes sense that they wouldn't be super hard. That said, Moorwing is one of my favourite bosses so far (I haven't beaten the game yet), and I don't think it needed any adjustments.

Ahh, I see. Well, maybe it's just not a game for you then. These things are always 100% subjective, but HK is easily one of my favourite metroidvanias ever. Up there with Super Metroid, Iconoclasts, Axiom Verge etc.

It feels like a lot of people never made it out of Forgotten Crossroads (the first proper area) and didn't get to experience the true beauty of the world. The game just gets better and better as it goes, so I highly recommend you give it another try some day.

What changed is that 15-20 years of other multiplayer games released. There is so much competition that a game needs to either truely stand out or have regular content additions to keep people entertained.
To be clear, I don't personally like live service games etc, but some people really do.

Well, that was their choice. Sonic Racing games made by Sumo Digital all used their own engine, so it's not like Sonic Team couldn't've done that.

It doesn't look awful, but it's a bit disappointing that the game only runs at 30fps while also looking way uglier than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Maybe a bit unfair comparison, but then again, MK8D is already a fairly old game as well. They've had plenty of time to learn how to optimize for the hardware.
