Played through Ascent DX from @johanpeitz.com. Excellent little game, upgraded from the PICO-8 original in terms of size but keeping those chunky pixels. Oh, and it's free on Steam too!

I have many (too many?) controllers already, but I found this super sturdy metallic case from Smallcab and had to build another leverless.
Decided to use Sanwa OBSF-CR buttons and RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board from @thetrain24.bsky.social for the brains. Turned out pretty great!

Major rewrite under the hood, but visibly the biggest change is that blocks now fall down smoothly if the blocks under them get destroyed. Also had the opportunity to fix some bugs while at it!

Recently started prototyping this falling block puzzler in #love2d. Think Tetris, but instead of clearing lines, you need to construct loops. Everything inside those loops is also destroyed and blocks on top will fall down. Still kind of early, but seems like a promising concept!
