Struggling with figuring out my news intake. I’ve not watched the news since election night-just reading @hcrichardson.bsky.social. But then I see on my feeds the new incoming administration-proposed appointees and the shock is horrible. I’m just deciding day to day what I can reasonably absorb.

Very happy to be on this platform and with all of you. I’ve been numb with disbelief and trying to find ways to emerge. One way is to focus on the small things/joys, as the big things feel so bleak right now. Being here is one of the small joys. I will take it!
