canceling the commissary — and i would assume, exchange — program is a one way ticket to getting a bonus army situation. for those unaware, the commissaries and exchanges are subsidized grocery and department stores for service members, veterans and their families.

The ugly celebration of mass deportations by Trump, the WH, and Karoline Leavitt is vile on its own. But it also has a purpose: It's a pretext for Trump to vastly expand his powers. That's what the "invasion" language is really about.

Face it, Trump could have said “30 days notice starting now. IGs fired” and it would have been perfectly legal and made 1 month difference in a 48 month term. He didn’t because breaking the law was the point, to demonstrate that the laws don’t apply to him and daring anyone to try to stop him.
